“After losing vision at age 44, I just wanted to continue living my life as I had when I was fully-sighted. Immediately, I began my O&M and VRT sessions with Helen Keller Services for the Blind, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I gained confidence in navigating the challenges of vision loss. My instructor was compassionate but determined. When I lost confidence in myself, she reminded me that living a full life was still possible. I am grateful to her to this day for her patience and guidance to provide me with the new skills I needed to live a full, wonderful life as a woman who is blind.” -Jenn N.
