This self-paced course was developed for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Counselors and professionals who work with DeafBlind individuals. Throughout this training, you’ll hear directly from DeafBlind people sharing their personal experiences, challenges, and growth, offering insight that goes far beyond textbooks. You’ll also gain practical strategies from professionals who support this population in real-world settings.
This course explores how identity, grief, and communication barriers intersect with employment readiness. It highlights the emotional resilience required to navigate combined vision and hearing loss and the vital role you play in supporting that journey.
