The Helen Keller Services Golf Classic is an annual fundraising event supporting initiatives that create lasting impact. These include vocational training and job placement, employment-focused technology programs that prepare participants for careers in today’s digital economy, assistive technology supporting communication and independence, expanded services for children—including a summer camp on Long Island—and support for older adults adapting to vision loss later in life.

“We are honored to have AKAM join us as Title Sponsor for this year’s 34th Annual Golf Classic,” said Larry Kinitsky, Chairman of the Board at Helen Keller Services. “Their generosity strengthens our ability to provide life-changing services—from early education and programs for youth to job readiness and support for older adults losing their vision. Partnerships like this don’t just fund programs—they help build futures.”

For more than 130 years, Helen Keller Services has provided comprehensive, person-centered services through its two divisions: Helen Keller National Center for DeafBlind Youths and Adults, and Helen Keller Services for the Blind. The 2025 Golf Classic will feature a full day of activities, including continental breakfast, noon shotgun start, BBQ lunch, and an evening cocktail reception, dinner reception, and awards program.
