Roger's success story illustrates the collaborative approach at HKNC, resulting in more positive employment outcomes for DeafBlind individuals.
Roger, an HKNC participant from January to December 2022, is now successfully employed at his local Olive Garden in Arizona.
Roger’s success was a result of his commitment and that of his team who assisted him in various ways during his training. He applied for positions and prepared for his interviews with support from the instructional team and HKNC’s National Business Relations specialist. Once he completed his training in New York, he was connected to the HKNC DeafBlind Employment Specialist in Arizona and was soon hired.
