Helen Keller Services (HKS) mourns the passing of its Board Trustee Philip F. Stenger on June 15th. Mr. Stenger, a stalwart in the NYC banking industry, was first elected to the Board in 1985. For over 33 years Mr. Stenger, along with his fellow trustees, worked tirelessly to keep HKS financially healthy when others were failing. His work on the Board was invaluable in allowing HKS to fulfill its mission within the blind and DeafBlind community. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Phil’s wife of 64 years, Evelyn Stenger, his son, two daughters and six grandchildren. For information about services, please visit this funeral home website.
