Helen Keller National Center (HKNC) is excited to announce a new webinar series in honor of National Preparedness Month. Our goal is to give the DeafBlind community the tools and resources to be prepared for emergencies and disasters. We also welcome service providers that work with DeafBlind individuals to learn and support their clients in emergency preparedness. The four webinar series will focus on: Overview & Disasters, Fire & Home Safety, Lived Experiences of DeafBlind Individuals in Emergencies: A Panelist Discussion, and The Power of Adaptive Technology in Emergencies. Please see below for more details on each webinar. ASL interpreting and captions will be available on zoom.
