This year’s DeafBlind Awareness Week campaign celebrates the journey of leadership development from youth discovering their potential to experienced adults mentoring the next generation.
In 2025, we will celebrate Helen Keller DeafBlind Awareness Week from June 22nd to June 28th. This year’s campaign, “Cultivating Leadership: Together, We Grow,” focuses on leadership development within the DeafBlind community across all life stages.
HKNC empowers DeafBlind individuals to reach their full potential through our Comprehensive Vocational Rehabilitation Program and nationwide network of support. We provide specialized training in adaptive technology, communication skills, orientation and mobility, independent living, and employment readiness, while fostering peer connections and mentorship opportunities that span generations. Through our regional representatives and advocacy training, we’re building a community where DeafBlind voices guide innovation and drive meaningful change.
