Property Gifts
Consider donating real property to HKS. The donation amount will be determined by the current market value of the property. There are no broker fees, and the tax benefits can be significant. Real property can be given as an outright gift or by bequest. Email for more information.

Honor. Celebrate. Remember. Make a gift in honor or in memory of someone special. Choose any of the donation methods above to create a unique tribute to a friend, colleague or loved one, or to mark a special occasion. Our clients and students will be your honoree’s living legacy. You can provide us with the tribute information when you donate online or by mail or fax , and we will send an acknowledgment card to whomever you choose.

Matching Gifts
Employers often support causes that are important to their employees through matching gifts. In many cases, companies match employee donations to nonprofit organizations dollar for dollar, doubling the amount of qualifying donations at no cost to the employee. Talk to your human resources representative to find out if your company has a matching gift program. If you already have a form from your employer, send it to us with your gift, and we will process the corporate match on your behalf.

Employer Payroll Deduction
Many companies give employees the opportunity to direct a portion of their paychecks to the charities of their choice. Giving via payroll deduction eliminates the hassle of writing and mailing checks and enables you to spread your donations out over the course of the year, making budgeting and record-keeping easier for you. Ask your human resources representative about making gifts to HKS through payroll deduction. If you are a corporate representative and would like more information about setting up a workplace giving program, email

Give When You Shop
Every time you shop on or other participating vendors' websites you can make a donation to HKS at no cost to you.

HKNC Giving Tree
The Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths & Adults (HKNC) is offering an opportunity to become a member of our Giving Tree.

As a donor your name, or that of someone you would like to recognize, will be forever associated as a supporter of HKNC. When you make a contribution, your gift will be recognized by a leaf, rock or dove on or around a beautiful tree which is permanently displayed in the lobby of HKNC’s headquarters in Sands Point. Each donor’s plaque can be engraved to honor or pay tribute to someone you love. With your generous support, together we can help individuals who are deaf-blind live, work and thrive in the communities of their choice.
