We had a wonderful evening at the 40th Annual Gala!  Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all who made donations.  We are able to fulfill our mission because of people like you! Gala Honoree

President & Chief Operating Officer, Investors Bank

Domenick A. Cama was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Investors Bancorp and Investors Bank effective May 22, 2018. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Investors Bancorp and Investors Bank in January 2011. In his role as President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Cama works closely with other members of the executive management team to manage the daily operations of the Company. He also works with the Bank’s Board Members and Chief Executive Officer in setting and implementing the strategic direction for the company. 

Prior to 2008, he served as the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). During his tenure as CFO, Mr. Cama had primary responsibility for the Company’s successful conversion to a publicly traded stock company.  In 2014, the Company completed one of the largest capital raises for a publically traded thrift – raising over $2.2 billion. 

Investors has been named on Forbes’ “Best Banks in America” list for seven consecutive years beginning in 2012.

In the fall of 2017, Mr. Cama was inducted into the Italian American National Hall of Fame.  He received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from St. Francis College in Brooklyn for his service to the community in April 2016.  Domenick was recognized by the Greater New York Councils of the Boy Scouts with the Good Scout Award in September 2016.  Mr. Cama has been the past recipient of the Executive of the Year from the Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation and honored as the Man of the Year by both the CIIAC and the Federation of Italian American Organizations.  

Other community organizations bestowing honors upon him in the past include Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, OHEL, HomeSharing, the Theodore Atlas Foundation, Futures in Education, Frankie’s Mission and HeartShare.

Mr. Cama holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Finance from Pace University.  Domenick is a Brooklyn native and currently resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife, Wendy, and has three children.

Amy was one of the first women in the world to earn the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist accreditation from the American Meteorological Society. She also holds Seals of Approval from both the AMS and the National Weather Association.

Amy joined Channel 7's Eyewitness News Weather Team in 2011, after serving as Chief Meteorologist for Fox News in Chicago. Before that she was a meteorologist at Philadelphia's WCAU-TV, was morning meteorologist at KMGH-TV in Denver and worked on KPTV's local morning news program "Good Day Oregon" in Portland. Her work has earned her several Emmy Awards, including for "Best Weathercaster," "Outstanding Host" and for her weather special, "Surviving Severe Weather."

Amy holds a Master Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis on Broadcast Journalism. She also has a B.S. in Geosciences from Mississippi State University, with an emphasis on Severe Weather and Forecasting.

An avid runner, Amy has completed 9 marathons in Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, California and New York (also running the New York City Marathon as a TV reporter for the race broadcast.) Amy has climbed to the top of the Empire State Building 5 times, the top of ONE World Trade, WTC 3 and WTC 4…. All for charitable causes.  She's also a certified SCUBA diver and has taken a swim with the dozen or so 300lb sharks that reside at the New Jersey State Aquarium. She has reported on movies and entertainment, covered the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and Atlanta, and was the first female sideline reporter for Major League Soccer.

Amy gives time to her community speaking to school children about weather and supporting charitable causes. She climbed Mt. Fuji with MMRF patients in 2018.  Amy frequently supports the Challenged Athletes Foundation and has attended their Triathlon in San Diego.  She has emceed the Miss Illinois/Miss America Pageant in Chicago, the Miles to Fight Melanoma Race and won Chicago's "Dancing with the Stars" contest benefitting the March of Dimes.

Born in Utah and raised Southern Indiana, Amy has lived in eight states. She lives on the Upper West Side with her four children. 

And yes, "Freeze" is her real name!

Being able to live, work, and thrive in your community of choice has always been our mission, and the programs and tools offered by HKS allow the individuals we serve every day to realize those goals and reach their full potentials.

Children and Youth Fund

From pre-school, to summer camp and young adult programs, to year-long career prep, HKS works closely with children, young adults and their families to provide the best programs and services to ensure lifelong success.
