ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: FT 35 Hours per week. Bachelor’s degree required. Experience using web-based media, including social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Linked In and Vimeo. Experience with online learning platforms a plus. The Administrative Assistant for the Professional Learning Department handles a wide range of administrative, technological and support related tasks for the Coordinator for Professional Learning, the Coordinator for Curriculum Development and the Director of IRPD as needed. Essential duties include: assists in the development of professional learning materials including books, web-based modules and other related products. This may involve video editing, researching and organizing content, publishing layout/design and copy-editing. Manages web-based information and materials related to professional learning and dissemination. Manages information and materials on the HKNC website related to professional learning and dissemination. Provides technical support to participants of HKNC online courses, webinars, etc. and other users of HKNC learning resources via the website. Ability to set up technology for online meetings (i.e., Zoom videoconferencing), and use the AV equipment in the conference center. Coordinates on-site learning seminars including managing consultants, managing the CEU applications, developing marketing materials, arranging accommodations and food, participant registrations and preparing learning materials. Provides Reception coverage as needed. Strong Computer Skills, including experience working on Apple Operating Systems (MAC) and Office Skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
