Feldman Named Chief Financial Officer Of Helen Keller Services For The Blind

April 1, 2010, New York — Marc Feldman has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Helen Keller Services for the Blind (HKSB), it was announced today by Thomas J. Edwards, President & CEO. Mr. Feldman succeeds Julian Weiss, who retired after 36 years of services.

A financial executive with over thirty years of experience, Marc Feldman will oversee all financial and accounting functions at HKSB. With over 300 employees, Helen Keller Services for the Blind (HKSB) has offices in Brooklyn, Hempstead and Huntington and administers the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults in Sands Point.

Prior to joining HKSB, Feldman was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at The Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation (DKM), a privately held multi-industry, multi-national corporation. At DKM Feldman directed all external relationships related to corporate finance, tax, real estate, insurance, audit/financial reporting, cash management, pension, environmental and IT. In addition to his responsibilities as CFO, Feldman managed invested assets as Treasurer of The Dyson Foundation.

Feldman was also Chief Financial Officer at Biopharmaceutics, Inc. and Assistant Vice President of Finance at Del Laboratories. Feldman began his career as a Supervising Audit Senior at Ernst & Young.

Feldman holds an MBA in Finance (Dean’s List) from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and a BBA with Distinction from the University of Michigan. Feldman is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
