Making a Gift to Helen Keller Services for the Blind
Your gift to Helen Keller Services for the Blind will make a real difference for someone in need. All gifts are tax deductible.
There are many ways you can donate:
Outright Gifts

You can donate shares of appreciated stock. Donating shares is an easy way to support our programs and may also provide you with tax savings. If you are interested in making this type of donation, please contact our Development department.
You can make a gift to HKSB in honor or in memory of someone. It is also a wonderful way to mark a birthday, anniversary or holiday.
Planned Gifts
To generate lifetime income while enjoying substantial tax advantages, consider a Planned Gift to HKSB. Planned Gift options include:
- Pooled Income Fund—Your gift is pooled with others and invested at market rates. You receive quarterly dividends for life and an immediate tax deduction. Your shares in the fund revert to HKSB at the end of your life. Minimum participation is $2,000.
- Gift Annuity—Your gift generates lifetime dividends at a guaranteed rate based on your age at the time of enrollment. Ideal for persons over 65. Minimum participation is $5,000.
- Charitable Remainder Trust—A trust can be tailored to your specific needs to produce income now or provide for your family later. Minimum participation is $100,000.
- Bequests—Bequests are a wonderful way to ensure that the issues and people you care about will continue to be supported in the future. By planning now, you can also help reduce potential tax burdens, and ensure that more of your estate goes to the people and organizations you care about. Remember HKSB in your will.
It’s Easy to Give When You Shop!
Go to our “shop” page, and click on the Amazon.com banner whenever you shop online; from 4 to 8% of the proceeds will go to HKSB, to help us help people who are blind or visually impaired.
